Finally, after many weeks of snow, storm and minus degrees, we had some very nice days of sun. Nature wakes up in Iceland. The first blades of gras have been spotted by our horses and they love to search for more of the fresh taste of young gras.

The staff used the good weather to start the grilling season this sunday with steaks and potato salat. It was a lot of fun for everybody- though a little chilly. But you can´t have everything. We also used this chance to welcome our newest staffmembers My, Lena and Amanda and our trainee Elon at Eldhestar. Now there are already 17 people working for Eldhestar and there will come many more in the upcomming weeks and months until the summer starts.
