The year 2012 is already two weeks old and we at Eldhestar started well into the new year. We started to put about 36 of our horses into the stable and train them in the upcoming weeks and months so they are fit for our riding camps in the spring. Some of them have already been on our farm during the autumn but most of them got some weeks on a field close to our farm. We picked up these horses and as you can see on the pictures, both our farriers are busy shoeing these horses.

The Icelandic weather stands true to its word and has been acting up during the past weeks. While the autumn has been quite calm, we had every possible weather during the past weeks, with snow, rain, icy roads and storm. Now it is raining and we hope to get rid of all the snow we have been drowning in since december. But for now we have to be content with this little pool on our overal track.
