Last Thursday, June 7th, we at Eldhestar opened of our new indoor riding arena. Finally, after many years of planning and months of constructions we celebrated with friends, partners and guest the opening with a great show. We practiced this show for weeks. First we led our horses through the riding hall and over our new planks. Than we got them used to riding with a flag.

As you can see on the pictures, the opening was a great succsess and everybody enjoyed themselves on the evening. Halldóra J. Þorvarðardóttir arrived, fitting to the occasion, on horseback to bless our riding hall and local officials as well as former ministers congratulated Eldhestar to this great success. One of the speakers talked about the time some 25 years ago when Hróðmar, Nonni and Þórsteinn were waiting along the road for tourist who wanted to come riding with them- just see what became of the company!
