25 years ago, in the summer 1987, Eldhestar started to offer guided tours in the area around the volcano Hengill. To celebrate this 25 eventful years, we not only organized two Anniversary Tours – the „Paradiestour" and „Landmannalaugar from the West". We also gave out a book together with the photographer Elisabeth Haug. Eldhestar – Fun, Wide Vision & Adventure just arrived from the printer and we are very proud to hold our very first own book in our hands. On 70 pages we share with you pictures from our tours as well as memorable stories from the past years. Elisabeth shares her magnificent pictures and describes her insights to the company and the beautiful Icelandic horse. We hope you will enjoy our stories and pictures from 25 years with Eldhestar and have a good laugh about the one or other thing that went wrong during the years on our tours.
