Roundup

This tour provides the unique experience of participating in an Icelandic roundup of sheep on Vellir farm in the southern part of Iceland. For the first one to two days of this tour, you have the opportunity to practice your riding skills and learn about the roundup and the specific skills required.

The remainder of the tour is spent with the farmer up in the striking mountains and lush valleys herding sheep down toward the farm corrals. Relaxing and celebrating the day's work is considered as much a part of the roundup as the herding itself.
This is a hardworking adventure that allows the participant to experience a piece of both Icelandic nature and the Icelandic soul - both guaranteed to leave a long-lingering impression.
